General MeetingsFriday mornings during each academic term, the Group meets in Austin Hall. The meeting begins with performance updates provided by the portfolio managers, followed by sector updates from each of the sector leaders (general management). After sector updates, analysts provide stock presentations, recommending either a buy, sell, or hold of an equity. These stock presentations, commonly referred to as "pitches," can be for an existing position or an initiating position. Following each pitch, the Group holds a Q&A session. Each member of the Group then votes on the pitch, including justifications for their decision. Portfolio managers are then responsible for trade execution.
