OSIG

What We Do

We are a student-led asset management organization dedicated to providing high-caliber experiential learning opportunities for students. We achieve this by performing in-depth equity research, fundamental valuation techniques, and portfolio management on behalf of Oregon State University's Foundation.

Our assets under management of approximately $5.3 million are dispersed between three distinct portfolios: the Large-Cap Portfolio, the Global Portfolio, and the D.A. Davidson Competition Portfolio.

OSIG has officially cracked into the Top 25 student-managed investment funds in the nation. Managing $5.1 million AUM, this recognition highlights the effort, commitment, and professionalism our members bring to managing real capital. Over the past year, our analysts and portfolio managers have worked diligently to research, pitch, and monitor investments while sharpening the skills and discipline needed for successful careers in finance. This milestone not only reflects the collective dedication of our group but also strengthens our mission to deliver strong portfolio performance and provide meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities for every member. Looking ahead, we are excited to continue building on this momentum and further elevating OSIG’s impact on campus and beyond.

15th Annual New York Trip

Jan. 2024

OSIG was fortunate to be back in New York and experience some incredible company visits. Members were able to hear about financial careers over a wide variety of specialties, including asset management, corporate finance, investment banking, and more.
This trip wouldn't have been possible without our generous donors and hosts, including Christopher Glynn, Tyler Wood, Lukas Scheiffarth, Nolan Eggert, James Wu, Michael Eschmann, and Lauren Rutkowski. It was a true learn-by-doing experience. We can't wait for next year!
